Speaker Profiles:
Art Nordholm, CHSC, CRSP
Art Nordholm is currently the President of the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering (CSSE) and has been a member of the organization for over 20 years. During this time, he has held other positions with the CSSE including Vice President, National Secretary, Regional Director and the Canadian NAOSH Week Chairperson. In addition to his experience in workplace occupational health and safety, Art professionally investigates railway and pipeline occurrences for the Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) and has experience as a first responder in the capacity of volunteer Firefighter, First Aid Attendant, Ambulance Attendant and Search and Rescue.
Jerald Richelhoff, CRSP
Jerald is currently the Regional Vice President for Alberta & NWT. He has over 30 years of experience filling various roles in industrial related work settings. He has been a member of the CSSE since 1991 and has held several positions within the CSSE organization and is a past member of the Occupational Health and Safety Council of Alberta. Jerald has been involved in the various aspects of the Health & Safety Profession for more than 17 years. He holds various certifications from Educational Institutions in Alberta and is a passionate advocate for safety.
Glyn Jones, M.A.Sc., P.Eng., CIH, CRSP
Glyn is the current Chair of the CSSE Calgary Chapter. He previously served as Treasurer. Glyn also helps to get our CRSP study groups organized. He is a partner in the firm EHS Partnerships Ltd. He has over twenty-five years experience as a consulting occupational health and safety professional. He is a lecturer and Adjunct Professor at the University of Alberta teaching in the Occupational Health and Safety Certificate Program.
Topic Summary: This session is designed to provide attendees an overview of what the CSSE is all about, including the roles of National, Regional and the local chapter. Art, Jerald and Glyn will provide an overview of the CSSE and provide an opportunity for attendees to ask questions and provide feedback. This is your chance to hear all about what the CSSE does for you and tell the CSSE what you expect as a member. This is also member appreciation month, where the first 100 paid member registrants will receive a special gift.

Pre-registration and payment is required! Guests and members attending without pre-registration prior to midnight on March 4, 2010, will pay an additional $10.00 over the registration fee. If you are unable to register by the early bird cut off, we would still like you to register prior to Monday morning to allow the Hotel Catering enough time to prepare for us. An accurate count of those attending allows the hotel to assign the most appropriate sized room and ensures that there will be enough lunch for everyone.
